Dear BHUSD Community,

I’m running for the Beverly Hills Unified School District Board of Education because rankings and enrollment are down, wasteful spending and turnover are up, and the district is distracted by crisis after crisis. As the mother of a 3rd generation BHUSD student, I care deeply for the school community we all call home, and I will fight to protect it for each and every student and family – without personal agendas or outside influence. 

My vision for BHUSD includes:

• Putting students first: BHUSD must be laser-focused on giving students the tools they need to succeed academically while ensuring they feel safe, supported, and connected at school.

• Restoring trust: The board must treat the community – including parents, teachers, students, and staff – as allies, not the opposition.

• Governing responsibly: Board trustees must lead by example: Fiscally, legally, and operationally.

Simply put, let’s get back to school.
